Christmas in the Park officially opens for the 2021 season on November 26 starting with the Community Giving Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30pm. From then on, the event is open every day through January 2, 2022, from noon to midnight, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Is Christmas in the Park safe?

There isn’t a safe and effective way to hold the event in Plaza de Cesar Chavez because the park is an “island” surrounded by heavy traffic. Why is Christmas in the Park not the traditional walk-through event? Due to health concerns, the traditional event cannot be held in a manner consistent with safety guidelines.
