Development of bf1 has finished. They have been investigating using bots and tests were done using bf1 but there’s basically zero chance of them appearing in game. You might see them in bfv but there hasn’t been any talk of it.

@MotorheadIRL Hi, the campaign is a standard offline campaign, playable without an internet connection. The only possible wrinkle would be on PC, where someone would need to be online for authentication when initially installing, and would need to set Origin to Offline mode, but that shouldn’t be a factor on console.
