Slightly dampen the Window Cloth Mop Pad under running water. Roll to wring out well and attach it to the Mop Base. Lock the base in position to clean walls, ceilings and windows. All slightly dirty Mop Pads can be washed with Norwex Dishwashing Liquid under warm running water and used again before laundering.

Attach the base to the handle by depressing the push-buttons on the base and then sliding the handle onto the base until the push-buttons lock into the holes. Moisten the Wet Mop Pad with water only prior to attaching it to the base. Wring out excess so the pad feels damp with no dripping water.

There is cleanser or polish on the floor – If you’ve used any sort of cleanser or polish on your floors in the past, it may take a few uses of the e-cloth (or Norwex) mop to remove it. Each time you use the e-cloth mop, it will remove a bit of that cleanser/polish and the floor will look streaky.

Can you use Dawn dish soap with Norwex?

Use a Non-Sudsing Dish Liquid– You can use Dawn, Norwex’s Dishwashing Liquid, or any other non-sudsing dish liquid to clean your microfiber. I recommend doing this once every other day or so. All you have to do is put a drop of liquid on a wet cloth, rub the cloth together, then rinse with warm water.

What happens if you wash Norwex with regular detergent?

This is, unfortunately, unavoidable. Norwex microfiber is great at picking up, and holding onto dirt and grease, and over time they will stain, and start to look well used. If you launder the cloths in HOT water and laundry detergent the fibers open up, and more dirt and grease can be released.

Should you boil Norwex cloths?

If your cloths smell, then we recommend washing them in hot water or soaking them overnight in Norwex laundry detergent and washing in hot water. We no longer recommend boiling Norwex microfiber.
