Is it worth getting cards graded Pokemon?

If you’re grading modern cards because you love the artwork, love the Pokemon, and simply want it in your collection, absolutely go for it! But if you’re doing it to turn a profit, unless you can bring the cards to market incredibly quickly, your venture won’t be as successful as you might think.

Is getting cards graded worth it?

You should ONLY get your cards graded IF it will increase the value or make the sale of the card(s) easier. You should NOT get your card graded just because you THINK it will improve the value. Money that sometimes isn’t returned because the grades assigned to the cards do not improve their value.

Does grading Pokémon cards increase value?

If you collect or invest in Pokémon cards, the condition of your cards matters—a lot. A card that a grading service like PSA or Becket has deemed pristine can be worth hundreds or thousands of dollars more than an ungraded copy of the same card.

These promos, especially from back in the day, are great Pokemon cards to buy and grade in my opinion.

Why is PSA so expensive?

The 1999 first-edition “Shadowless” Charizard, with a “PSA 10 Gem Mint” rating, sold on eBay, through PWCC Auctions, for $311,800 after a long bidding war.

How many PSA 10 shiny Charizards are there?

As of today, there are only 10 PSA gem mint 10’s in existence. Making it one of his rarest cards in said condition. If it weren’t for the PSA 10 grade and label, this card would be worth a lot less.

You should definitely get it graded. This card looks beautiful in a PSA case! I got my copy of the same card graded the end of last year, about 15 years after pulling it from a pack.

Is a Beckett 9.5 good?
